Peanut Parmeasan Popcorn

2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 pound boiled peanuts, without shell
3 quarts popped popcorn
1 teaspoon garlic salt
? (one-quarter) cup grated Parmesan cheese

Heat peanut oil in a 15 ? 10-inch baking pan in a 350 degree oven for about five minutes. Remove from oven and add peanuts. Stir until coated with oil. Return to oven for five minutes. Remove from oven, add popped popcorn and sprinkle with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese. Stir to coat popcorn and peanuts. Return to oven for five minutes or until cheese just begins to melt. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Yields almost one gallon.
