Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

INGREDIENTS
1 pound semi-sweet chocolate chips or carob chips
2 pints fresh strawberries

METHOD
Rinse strawberries and dry with a paper towel and set aside while melting chocolate. Place chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on High for one minute. Stir chocolate and cook for one or two minutes more until melted. Stir until smooth. Hold the strawberries by the stem and dip into melted chocolate one at a time. Scrape excess chocolate on the inside of the bowl and set strawberries on waxed paper. Let chocolate harden at room temperature then chill until serving time. Yields about 24 large strawberries.
